Busy, Busy, Busy. It has been a while since my last post. Baby Jace has been home for about 3 weeks. We just found out yesterday the hole in his heart has finally closed. He is olmost 3 1/2 months old now and weighs 11 lb and 10 oz. The LORD is good! Our other grandbaby Ryder Slade is healthy and always happy, smiling and laughing, he is such a joy.
We had recently gotten several "oilfield specials" to put on the lot for the local people. We have already decided, we do not wish to continue with that and will go back all Doubletree. For our DRV fans, forgive us.... temorary lapse in judgement. We are looking forward to possibly picking up an 08 amd am 09 this week, if it is in the LORDS plan. I haven't been on a trip with Slade in a while, so I am hoping to go with him this week (I have really missed spending time with him)!
Well.... Spring is here and things are greening up. We plan to have a pond in this year, so if our customers are staying over night, they can go fishing. The view will be a big bonus!! Well... gotta run, the new carpet is coming in the morning and I got to get everything out of the room. Blessings to all! Alicia <><

Today I am in Oklahoma City spending the night at the Ronald McDonald House. RMH is such a wonderful charity (set up for families that have children with extended hospital stays like kids with cancer or preemies, and live more than 50 miles away so they can be close to their little ones). They are providing Kaeci and Cameron a wonderful, safe place to stay while Jace is in the hospital. Our new grandson, Jace Ryan Brooks has been in the NICU at OU Children's Medical since he was born Dec. 23, 2010. He is 6 1/2 weeks old. He was born prematurely at exactly 30 weeks. We expected to get to bring him home at 4 1/2lbs, but he has been having trouble with his digestion (NEC) due to the medication they gave him to try to close the hole in his heart 5 weeks ago. The medication was not successful, so we have been dealing with 2 problems instead of one. Please keep him in your prayers. I have total faith the LORD will bring Jace home when the time is right, but until then, I spend as much time with him as possible. Don't worry, I am still looking daily for my DRVs and go to the sales when I can find one. We will be taking the 08 Big Sky we had to Louisiana sometime this next week, so I hope it doesn't snow anymore up here. We are so blessed to travel around and meet such wonderful people. I love how the LORD works in our lives and we cross paths with someone who we know the LORD has placed in that moment at that exact time. Puts a huge smile on my face. I better get some sleep. Night to all my brothers and sisters in Christ. Blessings!

This is our first blog ever! I have been thinking about blogging for a few weeks now after my good friends Terry and Jo Miller sent me a link to their blog. We seem to have a lot of followers in the DRV world and thought this would be a good way for our customers (future and present) and friends to get to know us a little better. We have been so blessed to be doing what we love for the last 5 years. Traveled many roads and met many wonderful folks. We are very excited about this blog and will try to update weekly at the very least. Happy trails & wishing everyone a very Blessed day!
